Anyone know of an OS X app that does what Disk Wizard or Iomega's FindIt utilities did in OS9 - for cataloging disks so you can find that elusive file that you know you backup for safe keeping 7 years ago in a sea of CD-Rs?!

Wow! 6 Years That has to be a record: T3h D34dly Thr34d N3cr0m4ncy!!11!!![]() Since he is an active poster you may consider PM'ing him or visiting his home website. To answer your question . . . Sherlock always worked for me, but I always have a good idea where things "are" on my computer. The current versions for OS X seem to be quite comprehensive. There are a couple of "Disk Wizard" "DiskWizard" programs per Google. Some have OS 10 capabilty. --J.D.

"EasyFind" works well for me. Even finds invisible files.

CDFinder bills itself as a Disk Warrior replacement, and even imports those data files: http://www.cdfinder.de/

Umm, hi. Yeah, I think we did just find an OS X version of Disk Wizard or Disk Tracker or something in the end. Works a treat! Thanks for the timely reply!
