Canon powershot movie capture

My Canon Powershot A40 allows me to take small quicktime films apart from taking photo's. Can anyone tell me how i can capture these small movies in OSX?

have you tried 'image capture'? It is in your applications directory.

On your software CD from Canon there are utilities. The Image Browser utiliity will allow you to quickly download both pictures and movie clips. Make sure your communications setting on your camera is set to "normal" and not "PTP". When set to PTP mode, your mac will automaticall launch iPhoto and Canon's Image Browser will not work.

Hope this helps...

Cheers
Don
