Firewire Problems
hi my brother just installed 10.4.2 and i seem to be having a lot of firewire issues, i'm using final cut pro HD and imove HD, and my system wont reckognise the camera. I have tried using brand new fire wire leads and nothing? is there a way to test to see if my firewire is still working? do i need to download some new drivers or something?

Check to see you've put in the correct Audio/Video settings. In other words, choose DV PAL if its a PAL camera, DV NTSC if it's NTSC, HDV 1080i50 if its a PAL HD camera, etc. etc.

i have the same problem and no body in this foruns answer this question!!! i upgrade to ox10.4 tiger and final cut pro 5 dont recognize the firewire!!! isnot a view output config!!! i am crazy!!!
help!!
