| Command-x, Command-v, Command-c Don’t Work!
Just discovered this site so I thought I would ask this question... Three years ago, I bought a Mirror-Door Dual 1-G G4 Tower new from an Apple dealer. Just one week after expiration of warranty period, the keyboard shortcuts listed above ceased functioning. Repeated reinstallation of OS X system didn’t fix. Then experienced a kernel panic. Dealer diagnosed a failed CPU on one side and replaced it with a new Apple part for $600+. No more kernel panics but shortcuts never recovered. Incidentally, Command-s and other shortcuts continue to work to this day. This has been the most frustrating experience I’ve had in nearly 20 years of Mac use. Any ideas?
