No screen capture

I have a small problem. For a reason unknown to me, when I type Shift-Command-3, nothing happens. It does not create a picture of the screen on my desktop. Anybody can think of why?

I can add though that when I type Shift-Control-Command-3, I get what I'm supposed to: the screen gets saved to the clipboard.

Help if you can.

Thanks!

Shift-Command-4 does nothing.

Shift-Control-Command-4 works.

Weird, indeed!

I'm sure you tried Shift-Control-Command-3... right?

Shift-Control-Command-3 or -4 work fine!

Shift-Command-3 or -4 do nothing.

I'm not gonna die over this but you must admit it's intriguing!

Yeah, there should be a utility for detecting and setting that the universal keyboard shortcuts are and where they go. I can't come up with any good reason except that it sounds like another app that has been installed stole those keyboard commands. What shows up in your Services menu that might be stealing those keys?
