 The missing drivers. Are they enroute? I have an Epson 1280 and Epson CX7800. Since installing Tiger they both act weird. After spending 1hr.+ calling California Epson Support their only answer was to call Apple because no driver has been furnished by Apple for Epson printers with Tiger. Both the 1280 and the CX7800 are being sold nationally in the retail pipeline, so why no drivers for them? Can anyone advise? Are they coming soon?  |

| The Epson Stylus Photo 1280 has been sold for 3-4 years, and Tiger includes native drivers for that model. You also have the choice of the Gimp-print drivers, also native to the Tiger install. Have you tried the Gimp-print drivers for the 1280? On the other hand, the CX7800 is brand new. Sorry about your experience with some local epson support, but Apple does not write drivers for most third-party hardware. Epson would be the company responsible for drivers for the 7800, as with most third party hardware. Have you tried downloading and installing the current CX7800 drivers from the Epson web site?
