I'm brazilian and I'm having dificulty in using accents and some kind of symbols that we use in our language.
Do you know some way to resolve it?

alt - e + letter -> é á í ó ú
alt - ` + letter -> à è ì ò ù

Não percebi se tens acesso a um teclado português! Se não tens então experimenta Finder>Edit>Special Characters
estão lá todos os caracteres acentuados portugueses (bem como muitos outros)

Another solution is to use the excellent PopChar Pro which allows to chose any character with a simple click of the mouse.
