| vpc and quicken Hello. Not so much a problem but a request for reassurance! I am using an iMac G5 with OSX 10.4.3 I am seriously tied into Quicken 2000 (UK version) for my small business accounts and, of course, there is no equivalent here for the Mac. The only alternative seems to be to buy Virtual PC ( and this would also allow me to continue using Access). The literature seems confusing and it appears there may be some compatibility issues. I still have my original Windows 2000 Pro installation discs and my Quicken 2000 installation disc for PC (although this says it is designed for Windows 95 and 98, it runs OK under Windows 2000). My question is - has anybody else tried this and, if so, have there been any problems. Quicken is notoriously 'buggy' and my version is no exception but I can just about live with this if I can get it to work. At present I have a very crowded desk with a Dell desktop PC alongside the Mac and something has to go. Any comments, warnings or suggestions, please? Is the process straightforward or should I put aside several days to get up and running. Will I need anger management councelling afterwards? Thanks, Chris |
