minimised Quicktime movies, qt7.0.1, 10.4.3

it doesn't work any more. the big hoo-ha about the power of the dock, watching a minimised movie, bring it back in slow motion etc doesn't work. it's just crashes. this happening to anyone else? try it now, play a movie in quicktime and minimise it. can you bring it back?

Convert is on a distinguished road
Doesn't work for me either, and I'm using Quicktime Pro.
