Cant Sync Palm E2 with Mac using iSync

Hey guys, long time no post.

Ok I have just got my new ibook, (nice and shiney) along with it got a Plam E2.

Im trying to sync my Calender made in iCal, with the Palm, Ive enabled Palm support (eventually) in iSync, so i can see the Palm, but when I click sync, i get the messege about pressing the hot sync button, wich i do, but my palm then reports (after about 2 minutes) that the connection to my mac could not be made, iSync doenst recongnise that i have pressed the hot sync button.

Im fresh out of ideas here people, ive tried everything that i can think of!

First: Install the Palm software and set it up so that the Palm device correctly synchs to the iBook's Palm Desktop software. _Then_ add it to iSync.

Thanks Fryke, but i have small problem, it my palm dosnt sync with Plam desktop, it reports a connection problem. Plus it take a really long time.
