Can't get email or access my website

I am running OS X 10.4.3 on a G4 dual 1.25 . I recently have been unable to get my email thru Entourage (error 23016) and Dreamweaver can not connect to my ftp server. Nothing has changed with my settings or passwords and my partner who has a similar set up can access both without issues. I have checked the Entourage and Dreamweaver support pages and tried all the basic's that they offered. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or may have some ideas as to what I could do. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated as I am ready to throw my computer out the window. Thanks

I have already tried this and it still doesn't seem to want to work.

Email Have you verified that you can check your email with other means, e.g., a web mail client? If you can check your mail online, are you getting any errors or warnings about large messages, full inbox, etc.?

FTP Have you tried connecting to the FTP server using another FTP client, e.g., Interarchy, Fetch, the command line? I know you said your partner has no issues, but errors generated by other FTP clients might be useful.

Is your partner on the same physical network as you?

Thanks for the help. I found out the problem was with my router. I needed to reset all the settings and everything is working fine now.
