iTUnes re-verb

iTunes makes a LOUD echoing loop
huh?
sometimes when iTunes is playing something, it suddenly gets louder and louder ans skips in this flashback-y loop. it always rights itself after about 3 seconds, but man, that reverb-y loop thing is tough...
heard about this?

just want to mention that i have experienced this feedback loop as well. there's no pattern to when it starts, and it always ends within about 2-3 seconds. applications that have manifested this defect include iTunes (6.0.4), DVD player, and Peak 4.1.3.

i recently applied the 10.4.5 update, and haven't had that problem crop up again, but it's been only 2-3 days.
