Check out MacNN someone figured out a way to make the R2 release work as a Carbon app. The 2001 R1 is a Carbon app.

Unhappy R2 de-carbonizing?

My bank just announced its support to Quicken 2001 Deluxe for Mac, and this OS X issue convinced to buy a copy (nothing beats direct access than having to import QIF every time...MoneyDance is nice, but this is why I'm not a big fan of it).

You guys were right ... R1 is Carbon, but R2 seems like Classic app. It seemed like MacNN guys found a way to make it work as "classic" app. (they had problems with OS X) and they mention nothing about R2 being Carbon. ...so I ended up with going back to R1.

Is anyone using Quicken 2001 Deluxe R2 as Carbon?

FYI: http://www.intuit.com/support/quicke...mac3/2590.html
