Google Earth not responding

When I download the google earth the program did not work at all (program not responding)????

My system is new one and meet the requirments??!!!

Please help me......

See if you have these preference files, if you do, trash them and try the program;

com.Google.GECommonSettings.plist
com.Google.GoogleEarthPlus.plist

Located in user/library/preferences

Google Earth did not work for me until I updated to 10.4.4 and repaired permissions (of course.)

I have a iMac G3 700 MHz OS X 10.4.4 and Google Earth works, a bit slugish, but it works so it must work on your system since you say it's new.
