Manage outlook-shared meetings with iCal?

Hello Dear Mac-Users,

I joined the Mac-Community several months ago and now, with a windows and an apple notebook in my office, I rarely see myself switching on Windows. However, there is one thing that I am missing on my apple: When it comes to manage meetings with my colleagues, I have to open Outlook on my windows notebook -- a point that I dislike most. Isn't there a way to manage meetings with Outlook users using iCal?

Btw., there are two things that might perhaps help to improve the Mac System, even when this doesn't seem to be the right thread:
1) Safari sometimes crashes when using the <tab> key in order to switch to new form fields or a button
2) Mail could need a built-in Newsreader and a flag in order to be informed when the message arrives at its destination.
