I just ripped a DVD with mactheripper and I don't have Popcorn to burn it onto a DVD...so instead, I know I can burn it on Studio Pro but the movie/file size is 5.2gigs and my blank DVD to burn is 4.7GB...I used Compressor but it won't allow me to import the VOB folders... is there another compressor I can use and do I ultimately have to get Popcorn to 'burn' instead of Studio Pro. Thanks, melvin |

DVD Studio Pro is not a program for taking .VOB files and compressing them to fit on a standard 4.7GB DVD-R disk. So far, there is no free Mac software for compressing .VOB files down to fit on a single-layer DVD-R disk. You must spring for Toast 7, Popcorn, DVD2One X or some other video DVD compressing application.
