Hi. I am using a Powerbook 12" 1GHz running Tiger 10.4.5. I am using Microsoft Office 11.2.1. I connect to the internet through my college LAN which uses a HTTP proxy.
The problem I have with sending and receiving e-mail occurs only with Entourage. I can send and receive e-mail using the same settings with Apple Mail, but Entourage cannot connect to the pop servers and times-out. I have rebuilt the database, repaired permissions, re-installed Entourage, but it still won't work. I have deleted my account and re-entered the account settings to no avail. I am quite stuck.
I am using Filevault, but don't know how that might be affecting Entourage. Any help would be appreciated.
