Httpmail Problem

Hi, new member and new to macs so be gentle lol. I have been trying to get httpmail to work with mail on the mac so i can get my hotmail e-mails easily and quickly. Anyway when I click on "get mail" I get an error message saying "invalid login" I don't know what that means or how to sort it. I may have set it up wrong or something but please somebody help me in solving this problem. Cheers for all your help.

Did you enter your correct Hotmail username and password for httpmail?

Hey but its a 4 year old @msn.com name and somebody told me that it doesn't work with @msn e-mail addresses.

i'm sorry eric, but that link was no where as good, or detailed, as the readme that comes with the plugin. i used it to set mine up, and it works great. now, the first thing is, can you log into the email account from a web browser, like going to hotmail.com and entering in the email address and password? you said it is an old account, and if it hasn't been logged into in a while, then the plugin will not work. the account has to be active, and i know that msn kind of suspends accounts that have had not activity in a couple of months, requiring you to reactivate them by resetting them up.
as far as @msn, i do believe that it will work, it may of even been the example he used in the readme. if your account is active, let us know, and i'll dig out the readme, and help you through it.

Yeh it's an active account.I use it every day but it still keeps saying "invalid login". I used the link to try and sort it but it hasn't worked.
