Need help Networking Tivo to Mac for Tivo Tool program

Can someone please point me in the right direction. I am a newbie. I have searched google but can't seem to find the right stuff.

I want to network my Tivo series 2 to my Dual 1.25 G4 and use TivoTool to transfer shows to my computer. The Tivotool program doesn't have any directions or readme files. http://tivotool.com/screenshots/screenshots.html

Has anyone done this before?

1. How do you network the tivo to a Mac? Is the USB network adapter the only option?

2. How do you hack the Tivo using the Mac?
