| Toast Hi I have another toast problem. When I try to re-encode an avi and burn to dvd I only get a short wat into reencode then my 'puter freezes I have tried this a few times all with the same result no other apps running all repairs done before trying media is checked all clear (DVD-RW) using Toast 7.0.2 Cheers Puck |

| what format is the AVI file in? XVID? A good place to start is to download DivX Doctor II and use it to convert it to a Quicktime friendly format. If in a QT friendly format, it is less likely to cause problems with Toast. Now, this won't work if the AVI is in a different format, but if you're not sure what format it is it can't hurt to give it a go. |
