Apple Motion 2

Hey guys,

I have been trying to get hold of a copy of Apple Motion 2. I only need the stand-alone version, but Apple have now said there they have changed it so that they will only sell it as part of the Final Cut Studio package. You used to be able to buy the stand-alone version for only $299.

Does anybody know a store where I could purchase it from? Or maybe anybody who is selling it second-hand? My boss will not shell out the $1,300 for the studio package as we already use Premier Pro on the PC for our video editing.

I looked for one forever and finally found that if you have a registered version of FCP going back to version 4 - which I did - you can buy the whole upgrade through Apple for just $199.95. So that's what I did.

you could try ebay. i'm in the same boat, i want motion, but i really don't need all the video editing, dvd authoring or sound mixing. i just want the motion bit.
