| Synchronising files on two macs
Hello everyone, Up until now, my iMac has been my only workstation, but now that I have a MacBook Pro, I'm doing a lot of work on there too (Photoshop stuff, HTML stuff etc). This is causing me all sorts of problems because I am losing track of which folder is the most up-to-date. It's just a matter of time before I delete the wrong folder and lose a lot of work. So I was wondering what sort of synching solutions there are on the Mac? I'd like to set up some way to keep the imac and MBP syncronised (not the whole system, just my Documents and Sites directories really). I'd basically like to get an iPod/iTunes sort of thing going, but with iMac/MBP. Does iSync do this, or is that something completely different? I tried using it but it never seems to "find" the other Mac. Any suggestion welcome ![]() Thanks |
