| duplicate names in Finder's Recent Places and PS filters Running 10.3.9 and in the Finder or certain applications like Photoshop, certain elements like recently opened files in Finder or even the filters in the Filter menu in Photoshop are being duplicated. See the below screen shots. ![]() ![]() What could be causing this strange effect? I ran TechTool just to make sure and it didn't find or fix anything that would appear to be related. |

| Did you make an exact bootable copy on your external drive? That would be the cause.

| No, not exact. The box does have 2 internal drives, and 1 external. The 2nd internal has almost no data. The external is used as a backup (using Synk) but it's not an exact bootable copy. There's no way to stop this phenomenon from occuring? |
