| Help! My powerbook G4 (10 months old) will not boot properly. I was using it today and my battery ran flat whilst I was charging my ipod. Now it comes up with the apple logo, loading OXS screen and then nothing, just a blank screen. I have tried everything, now I also have the operating system CD stuck in the drive and it will not eject. Please help! Seamus |

| To get the disk out, power the mac on while holding down the mouse button. Now for your non-boot, have you tried Apple's suggestions yet?

| Help Thanks, I managed to get the disk out by following your instructions, i went to the mac link you gave me and managed to boot it in safe mode, but I cannot get past the password screen, although I am positive I am puutting it in correctly, caps lock/number lock is off etc. But it just reverts back to the same password box screen. Thanks Seamus |
