HELP my new osx tiger won't recognise data discs

Ever since I installed Tiger on my G4 I have been having some problems. Mainly when I put data discs in it which have been burned from the source my computer is not recognising them at all. It is as if they don't exist, they don't show up on my desktop !!!!

another mac G4 running OS9 but the data discs are just photo files - jpegs

Which application or utility do you use to burn them?

Also, give us a better description of your G4 system. Remember that there ahve been many revisions of the G4 Macs, including different models like the iBook, iMac, eMac, and PowerBook.
