Retrospect 6 questions

Using Retrospect 6 on latest OS X.

I want to back up certain files from hard drive A to hard drive B. And I need to back up about half the files in a folder. But when I start Backup, then try to pick half of the files of that folder in the Subfolders area, it only lets me pick one at a time. One file or one folder. This can't be right. I have hundreds of folders and thousands of files in those folders. And I don't want to have to create a seperate backup set for each one. That would take hours. I must be missing something here. In Finder or any similiar program (even Toast) you use the Shift or Command key to highlight more than one file or folder. Retrospect doesn't seem to work the conventional way.
