| I've bought PGP for OS X, and want to keep my Entourage databases secure. This means placing them in a secure PGPdisc, mounted as a separate volume. I did, and placed an alias to Microsoft User Data in my home Documents folder, but Entourage did NOT like that at all. How do you put Microsoft User Folder anywhere but the Documents folder in Home (which I cannot easily encrypt or protect)? |

| had a similar problem after I upgraded from 10.1 to 10.2.... I had used the alias trick in 10.1 and it worked fine. When I did a clean install of 10.2, it wouldn't work anymore. rather than doing that alias trick, I've now got an alias to just the Database file on my desktop, which knows it has to launch Entourage to read the Database file. You should be able to put the user folder wherever you like, and call Entourage via the alias to the Database file. May not be an ideal solution, but it works |
