| mp3 editor??
I have a large mp3 file that i want to burn to CD as an audio file (not mp3) but the file is too large to fit on the CD in that format. I am looking for some software to section up the mp3 or convert and then section up the file to sizes that will fit on a CD. Any suggestions?

iTunes 3 can do it. Do a Get Info on the long-long tune, and in one of the info tabs you can specify a start and end time. Set it to the first 74 minutes, burn it, then reset it to the 2nd 74 minutes, burn it again, etc. until the whole song is - uh - burnt.

Thanks now looking at the file maybe I will leave it as an mp3.  it is a book, that is 20 hours long. thats about 16-17 CDs Oh yeah iTunes2 can do it too i see

Wow, 20 hours long! If you had one of those newfangled spiffy mp3/cd players, you could burn the whole thing to one disc... My wife has one of those, but I never get to play with it, since she listens to it at school.
