Acrobat Reader seems to have taken over Safari

I recently installed Acrobat Reader 7.0. When I click on a link to a .pdf file, it opens in Safari. When I was using Reader 5.0, it used to just download the file. That is how I would like 7.0 to behave. Can someone tell me how to get it to do that?

Also, I notice that although 7.0 won't allow you to save data in the fields of .pdf forms. 5.0 would.
