| IXMICRO Turbo TV on OSX Hi guys & gals, Quick question. I just bought a new (to me) Dual 550 G4 on E-Bay and it came with an IXMICRO Turbo TV card. Seems neat, but since the company that made the card is out of business, there is no support for OSX. I've searched some forums and was recommended two programs that supposedly work with this card in OSX. One is called iTV and is version 0.1 from Lightware, I believe. The other is XTelevision (no version number I can find, and I don't know who wrote that one). I have never messed around with a TV Tuner card before, so I'm not up to speed as far as how to set up the programs to view TV. Anyone have any experience with tuner cards and OSX, particularly the IXMICRO card? All I've managed so far is a high-pitched feedback squeal and no video whatsoever. Although I "Tech" here (I take all the easy tickets before you get them!), I certainly don't know everything, particularly when it comes to this matter. I've done quite a bit of research on the net, but I find very little about this particular card, and nothing as to which settings I need to make in the programs' respective preferences. You guys are smarter than me! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Gary |
