G4 10.4.7 Airport problems.

Greetings.

Some time ago I installed a driver for an external wireless adapter (even though my Airport and internal Airport Card seemed to be working fine) that had the nasty habit of crashing my OS. It also stopped spotlight from working. I looked it up online and found that it was a documented problem, and most people suggested not even using that external wireless adapter or its driver.

With no way to uninstall it, I used the CDs that came with my iBook to reinstall Mac. Everything seems to be working, but I have a wish to get Airport functioning on my Mac again. I was wondering if...
A.) Anyone else has lost Airports functionality from reinstalling Mac OS X.
B.) If anyone knows where I can find the drivers I need to get Airport recognised and functional again. (Right now System Profiler has no information on "AirPort Card". It did before I reinstalled)

Thank you for any help I can get.

P.S. I spent a long time online looking for the answer before deciding to ask you this. I installed a few different drivers from a few different servers and none seemed to make any progress.

A) I have experienced or read of any loss of Airport functionality after a reinstall.
2) Apple's web site probably has Airport software.
I am assuming your Airport Card is the type that is removable? If so, with the computer turned off, ensure it is securely seated. You can also reboot, using your install CD/DVD, and use System Profiler to see if the card is recognized.
