    Mail has been hijacked

My mail account has been hijacked. I know this because I am getting Mail Delivery errors for mail which look like med sales.

How do I stop this from continuing?

    I'm using MAIL on a G4 Mac-mini running OSX 10.4.7

what is your mail account provider
Try contacting your provider and tell them about this.
and while your there update your software
if there is a security update this may fix your error

More than likely, your mail account is secure. One way you can make sure is by changing your mail account password.

What's really happening is that a spammer is using your email address as the return address or somehow spoofing their address on his/her spam emails, and that's why you're getting the failed/returned messages. There's not much you can do about this at all, and does not indicate that your mail account has been "hijacked."
