Searching for Mac OSX mod player (to play it, s3m and mod files)

I've searched every where and din't find a program or plugin which plays these mod tracker files.
I have plenty of these files, but it would be a hassle to grab the audio out in winamp (win) and convert the data in mp3 and copy the files to my mac.

Something I tried:

Melody player -

works, but is really an ugly app (on all platforms including OSX) > and lacks a lot of features e.g. no pause buttons, no supports for other mod tracker formats etc..

Apple beta X11 server + fink + xmms:

xmms works great, but unfortunally the libmikmod (library/plugin for playing mod tracker files) doesn't work. When playing mod files the output is garbeled and contains only noise. Playing other audio formats is no problem at all.

Something I won't try is virtual PC. I want to run a native app and don't want to boot up a guest system every time.

Do you know a prog which plays mod tracker files in MacOSX and err... looks somehow decent?

Playerpro is annoying with its '9s wait time before you can do anything'.
Even closing the app isn't possible without looking for 9s on this dialoge box.

It seems that the Mac really lacks a mod tracker player/editor. I can't believe its the main platform for music/audio editing/composing.

Until someone gets around to porting something suitable from Gnu/Unix, I think we're stuck with PlayerPro.
I've been keeping a VirtualPC image ... only 10mb in size ... that holds Impulse Tracker on MS-Dos and have found it good for this purpose.
