problems with entourage on MacOSX

hi,

i cant seem to get my entourage version working on my macosX. its says
"identity canoot be opened with this version of entourage"

i would like to know how to solve this.

and also is it possible if i could install microsft outlook express on a MacOSX?

can anyone help me?

What version of Enrouage are you using now and what were you using when you created the identity ? Also version of OSX would be helpful.

im using the student version.

im using the same acc as my admin. but cant seem to use entourage. word, excel and all are working fine. only entourage has this error

The first thing I would try is to set up another account for yourself and then try to run Entourage again.

It may not work, you can rebuilt the data base in Entourage:

i did try downloading it from the cd on another account in the same comp.
also experienced the same problem. word, excel and powerpoint work. only entourage.

Download and run the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 2
and see if that helps.
