Mail - Auto Check mail Prefs...

i have 3 "POP3" mail accounts, 2 through yahoo, and one via SpyMac ...

at the moment, i have Mail checking emails, every minute ... but i find, mail often brings back errors, looking up into my spymac account. What i'd like to know, is it possible to setup mail to scan yahoo every minute, but maybe Spymac every hr?! (the spymac one is mainly for "personal" stuff, NOT Forum replies etc). Up until now, i've turned Spymac off, in the prefs, because the errors annoy me, and are frequent, but not pattened. Any ideas guys? And also, anyone else having problems with Spymac POP3 Mail, and Mail.app ?!

it seems pointless to be checking mail every minute. it eats up system resources big time. why would you possibly need to check it that often unless you were explicitly expecting something. every 15 mins works much better, and really who knows beside you how often you check it? i will say it is not uncommon for any server to experience periodic problems with connections, at least in my expereince. normally these get resolved pretty quickly so i always assume they are just momentarily busy and i was at the end of the line.
