| In my inbox, I have an older e-mail, from May. In the viewing pane, as soon as I scroll down to this message, an error pops up saying my database may be corrupt. I have verified, and everything is fine. For kicks, I have even repaired a couple of times. And it successfully completes this task. However, WHENEVER I get to that message in the viewing pane, the error pops up. I can click Cancel and scroll away, and it will be fine. If I stay there, it will pop up a few moments later, ad nauseum. So how can I get rid of this message? I can't select it because that corrupt database error pops up. Also, the message is partially grayed out, just the top horizontal half. Strangest thing I've ever seen in dealing with Entourage for 4 years. EDIT: I also tried exporting everything to an Entourage archive file, but it fails for the same reason. Last edited by Simurgh; November 22nd, 2006 at 11:33 AM. Reason: Update |

| Can you make a copy of the database (in case) then load the database into a text editor such as BBedit Lite, search for a phrase in the corrupted message and delete the message text?

| I tried opening in BBEdit, TextEdit, etc., but all gave me a MacOS System error, being -116 (I googled it and got this: memSCErr Size Check failed). |
