    Boot Up Applications

    I am looking for a Program that will let me load up certain applcaition from a Boot CD like on Apple's CD, I do no programs exsie but can't get one! it is Mainly to run iPartition and it should come with a Applcaition but dosen't.

    BootCD can do this, but only on 10.3 on PPC macs. I don't know of another program. You could get a little firewire drive (10 or 20 GB), and load up applications you'd need on that..

    That's actually how they do it at the Genius Bar - the little portable FireWire drives, setup with 10.4 or 10.3, PPC or Intel. A firewire drive boot would be faster than a CD or DVD boot.

    well lets hope I get a Ex. HD for xmas then . i'm sure it is easy booting the apps up.

    Thanks but I have a problem withh Step 1: Step 1: Get a third-party bootable disc. ... I haven't got any other CD that is a boot CD

    But what about using iPod in Disk Mode? How does that work with the application I need... If you Know.

    Found sultion ... should work will take a few mins. tho and will use old iPod as Firewire drive clever Apple technolgy lol
