Delete from iPhoto library as well as from Album

Delete from iPhoto library as well as from Album

I like iPhoto 2, but one feature I'm missing is a way to delete files from the library when I delete an album.
Something like "delete album" and "delete album from library too".
Now, when I'm backing up I have to wade through the entire library to throw away pictures that I don't want anymore.
Am I missing something, or is it really not there?
