Mac 6500 -Airport and Imac w/Laser Printer ??

I have a iMac connected to Airport to my MAC 6500 (Running OS9) The latter has an old (Dependable!) Personal Laser Printer. How Can I access it from my Imac. I can access the files on the 6500, but I cant seem to print to the printer. Also what does it take to run OSX on the 6500? watchman1@mac.com
