MacTheRipper equivalent

I need a program that will rip a DVD straight to my hard disk and remove all CSS/Macrovision protection, much like MacTheRipper. The reason I'm not happy with MacTheRipper is that it's not universal, and it takes over 40 minutes per disc which is terrible.

There's been a universal version of MTR for quite a while.

And that Universal version would be available where?
MTR hasn't been updated for nearly two years, and no universal version seems to be available?

I got mine on VersionTracker. You might also go to the developer's website (link on VT). They are working on getting more $$ so that they can work harder/longer on MTR.
