Keyboard shortcuts not working

On an iMAC running Mac OS 10.4.5, I've managed to disable all keyboard shortcuts, although my intention was only to stop the dashboard appearing when using some quark shortcuts, and to make sure quark shortcuts like F12 worked in that programme. Now for example Apple A, Apple Q don't select all or quit, and the F keys don't work either.

How can I fix this?
