Hello I have a MacBook with integrated camera. And I gotta say that the Photo Booth is great for taking pictures, but I was wondering if there is any kind of application with which I could use my inbuilt camera to record short video clips ( with or without sound ). Thanks in advance!

I've started using iVideoMail a few days ago... works great and records right in Mail. An icon is installed in the pref pane and the clip gets embedded in the message body. Really great app for $10.00 US. You could save the clip if you don't want to send it as an e-mail, but the I guess iMovie would do the trick as well... http://www.hawkwings.net/2006/01/20/...ps-in-mailapp/

have you tried iMovie? Quicktime Pro can record from any quicktime-compatible camera which the iSight is.

select it as the input source to use it in iMovie. The image will be mirrored, though.

I use quicktime Pro - its the best for recording video in my mind since you can fine-tune all the codecs etc. EDIT: A solution that can record stills is iStopMotion as well - I love that prog |
