| quick graphic of HD memory usage? Anyone know of a little app that lets you see, at a glance, where your HD memory is being taken up? Activity Monitor has a nice little pie-chart but it's only used/free memory - is there anything that splits that up so you can see easily and quickly where your memory is being used (movies, music, apps, etc) cheers spiff |

| the Terminal seems to be describing RAM usage..and anyway, a bit too unmediated for a non-techie like myself. Al, thanks for the link. From the feedback for that app, I got a freeware app called WhatSize? http://www.id-design.com/software/whatsize/index.php -no pie charts but very easy to read, accessible, simple. cheers spiff |

| Just use the included Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor) and it will tell you what you want to see.
