Smile Still Got Printer Problems Help!!!

Printer Problem

We have been given a old apple g4 computer at work, the problem is I cant set up any printers directly from the machine, when I click on “set up printers” in the systems preferences, it blinks on and then immediately goes off. The computer before it was given to us, was on a network, It’s a new Admin account I was thinking it may be a security policy or something like that. Does anybody no how to view the security Policies?

Any help or suggestions would be good

Thanks

Wills223

The computer is Mac Os X version 10.3.9

MisterMe will become famous soon enough
Have you tried launching Printer Setup Utility directly? You will find it in /Applications/Utilities/.
