| G4 Problem in starting up Hi I bought this used computer about 2 months ago. It's a G4 PowerPC 10.3.9 (?), 1.25 GHz, 1.25 GB ram. It worked fairly OK. Yesterday I did software security update and after completion there was a prompt to restart, which I followed. But it did not work. The screen flashed with a circular globe icon, and then later a question mark came on. I manually switched off the computer, and tried once again to start it after a few hours. Same problem! Need your help please.(I'm not very computer savvy but can follow instruction.) Thanks. gary  |

| I had a similar problem Hopefully, someone can help me with a similar problem I encountered after loading security update 2007. After restart, the desktop icons did not appear. The menu bar came up and works, but nothing else. Thanks, Smith |
