transparent screensaver

hello,
until now, i wasnt using a screensaver so I could see what's happening in some applications. now I would like to put a password to the screen after some inactive time. I thought if there was a screensaver which would just be transparent, and if I turn on require password for screensaver, then I should have what I am looking for right? is there a screensaver which would be just showing the screen as it is without some animations or pictures?

just open the screen saver inside the folder and it will install it, then open the screen saver panel and select the screen saver named, Basic Transparent.

I tested it out. It works for me, where does it say it doesn't work?
