ac3 decoder for mac?

Hi all

I have a avi-file, where no sound is comming when played in any program. Quick time says that i need speciel softwear and i have been told that it is because I need a AC3 filter/decoder.

Where can i find such i thing for mac? And can anyone figur out if that program sulves my problems or i need to do something else.

D

I highly recommend Perian. It will play AC3 audio from AVIs, as well as a bunch of other things.

If for whatever reason you prefer not to use Perian, or you need to play AC3 audio from other formats besides AVI, you could use the A52Codec.
