Powerbook keeps crashing intermittently

I'm looking to buy a Mac that I can fix and use. I found one, but am not sure how much would need to be done to fix it.

Here is the info:

Model: PowerBook G4 1.5GHz
Problem: This notebook powers up and runs but crashes intermittently. Sometimes it will run for an hour, and sometimes it will run for only 15 minutes before crashing. Techtool Deluxe says all the hardware is OK. A fresh load of OS X 10.4.9 Tiger has been performed and it hasn’t fixed the problem.

Cause: logic board or a fan?

Any ideas? How much would it cost to fix?
