Music Server

I'm not too sure where to put this so please forgive me if it's suppose to be in the server section.

I have a computer that is running Mac OSX and it is a music server for our shop. It works great because we have so much music on it that it will take 2 weeks before you hear the same song again! the only thing that could make it better is if it hosted a website with the music in the playlist.

The reason is because the computer is hooked up to a stereo and it plays in the back shop but people in the front office building can't hear and take advantage of it. So if they could type in their browser http://musicserver and play the music on there computers then that would fix our problems. Does anybody know of a good piece of software that could do that? Every time I google music server webpage it finds internet radio stations and such.

What about using iTunes? You could share the library on the server and put iTunes on the computers you want to listen. Then they can play what ever they want from thet library indivudually.

Sharing is your only option, what you are asking for is something that would essentially allow people (even if its not what you are trying to do) to share their entire music collection for free over the internet. Not ever going to happen.
But then you knew that, being an IT Security Specialist!
