Did 10.4.10 change my display settings?

Upgraded to 10.4.10 with no apparent problem, after a couple of days, I found a site that wouldn't work. Said it needed "millions of colours". That was what was set, I thought, but, when I checked, the display was at "thousands of colours". Changed the setting and it's OK.

I'd used the site before, quite recently, with no problem. So I assume the display was set to "Millions" a couple of weeks ago before the upgrade.

Display is the 17 inch flat LCD studio display with 1280 x 1024 that cmae with my Quicksilver G4 - now about 5 yr old.

I remember someone posting about a change in colour after the 10.4.10 upgrade. I wonder if the same has happened to them?

Might have been anything. Like a game you started which set the resolution and colour depth automatically or something... Anyway: Didn't happen to me when I updated to 10.4.10.
